I BUILD PRODUCTION PLATFORMS AND THE SYSTEMS UNDER THEM.

I founded and built The Veil, a live wedding platform I designed, built and launched solo across iOS, Android, web and a business portal, and I sell it to venue owners myself. Underneath it sit 75 edge functions, a PostgreSQL schema where row-level security is the permission model, Stripe Connect payments, QuickBooks and Zapier integrations, and an MCP server that lets a business work its leads from Claude or ChatGPT. On the engine side I write C++: a server-authoritative multiplayer FPS framework in Unreal Engine 5 with custom lag compensation, a Vulkan 1.3 PBR renderer written from scratch, and game AI from alpha-beta search to timesliced pathfinding.

The through-line is the same in both: I want to know what the machine is actually doing. That is why the renderer is hand-written rather than borrowed, why the multiplayer loop validates on the server instead of trusting the client, and why authorization in my platform lives in the database rather than in a hidden button. I like finishing things, and I like them to hold up under scrutiny.

Open to full-time roles — three tracks

Software Engineer

Full-stack, backend and systems. Production platforms, PostgreSQL authorization models, payment infrastructure, integrations and cloud automation — shipped and live.

Solutions / Sales Engineer

I build the product and I sell it: demos, walk-ins and onboarding with venue owners, the outreach and CRM tooling behind it, and the integrations customers ask for.

Gameplay / Engine Programmer

C++ and Unreal Engine 5. Server-authoritative multiplayer, weapon and movement systems, replication and lag compensation, plus engine-level rendering and game AI.

PRODUCTION PROVENANCE

My journey into engineering started with competitive gaming—grinding tournaments in CS:GO and Valorant—which quickly evolved into a fascination with low-latency data processing and real-time synchronization. I taught myself to code at 16 using Java to understand the machinery behind the screen, establishing a lifelong habit of diving beneath consumer software abstractions.

At Full Sail University, I specialized in core computer science vectors, graduating in April 2026 with a Bachelor of Science in Game Development. My training covered everything from Linux Systems Administration and Advanced Database Management to native Graphics Programming, low-level resource optimization, and autonomous AI design. I focus heavily on writing clean, modular code that respects hardware constraints, eliminates thread contention, and guarantees data consistency.

Flagship Architecture

  • The Veil (TheVeilWedding.com): Founded, built and launched a live B2B/B2C wedding platform solo, and sell it to venues myself — a React Native app on iOS, Android and web, a Next.js 15 marketing site and vendor CRM, and 75 Deno edge functions over one PostgreSQL instance shaped by about 550 migrations. Five distinct user roles read the same tables, and row-level security decides what each of them can see. Includes Stripe Connect payments with server-side price authority, QuickBooks Online accounting sync, a public REST API with a Zapier app, an MCP server with OAuth 2.1 sign-in for Claude and ChatGPT, scheduled outreach that sends from the founder's own Gmail at a paced rate, a web crawler that finds the email each business publishes, and a Google Places cold-start engine that turns a couple's enquiry into a vendor storefront. • Custom C++ Environments & Engines: Engineered an EnTT data-driven ECS architecture supporting hardware-accelerated Vulkan 1.3 PBR rendering pipelines, multi-threaded OS dispatchers, and adversarial Alpha-Beta pruning AI algorithms directly on bare-metal memory allocations.
  • Multiplayer FPS Framework: Built completely in C++ and Unreal Engine 5, I engineered a highly modular, server-authoritative networking loop. The framework integrates Epic Online Services session handling, customized network weapon state machines, procedural recoil, and strict server-side validation to eliminate replication desync.
  • Core Gameplay Systems: Developed modular, data-driven system mechanics across distinct test beds, including Archmage (Unity RPG), SpaceRace (Custom C++ Arcade), and Delivery Detonation (3D third-person physics-based platformer built to isolate complex environmental collision matrices).

LONG TERM VISION

I am driven by the pursuit of mastering enterprise-scale systems, solving complex data bottlenecks, and eventually leading high-performance engineering teams. Shipping The Veil end to end — schema, payments, permission model, mobile and web clients, and the operations tooling behind them — taught me more about building scalable, self-sustaining software ecosystems than any single subject in my degree did.

My definitive long-term goal is to architect industry-leading infrastructure, fostering engineering cultures defined by rigorous standards, uncompromised performance, and maintainable code.
